In honor of the presence of the author of the novel of the same name, Donatella Di Pietrantonio, on May 11 at 6:00 pm the film “L’arminuta” by Giuseppe Bonito will be screened at the Institute, as part of the Lunedì al Cinema series.
August 1975. A thirteen-year-old girl is returned to the family she did not know she belonged to. Suddenly she loses everything from her previous life: a comfortable home and the exclusive affection reserved for an only child, and finds herself in a foreign world barely touched by progress and having to share the space of a small, dark house with five other siblings.
