The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin present “Over the Limits. Sport Italia, Portrait of a Changing Country”, an exhibition in occasion of the First Edition of the Day of Italian Sports in the World.
The exhibition, organised with the M9 Museum and inaugurated in Ireland on 21th September, can be visited from the 23rd of September to the 25th of October at the Italian Institute of Culture. The exhibition offers a multimedia voyage through the history, present and future of sport in Italy, telling not only of the big Italian enterprises in competitive sport but also of Italy’s transformation across a century by way of sport.
“Over the Limits. Sport Italia, Portrait of a Changing Country” is a selection of over 50 panels and videos which explore themes such as the pathway of Italians towards sport, innovation in sport, journeys, the duality of sport and health, sport as a vehicle for economic and social growth, the myths and love for sport in Italy, and in light of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
The exhibition can be visited from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm on weekdays. Free admission.
