Matthias Martelli is widely recognised as the artistic heir to Dario Fo‘s overwhelming, bubbly, electrifying theatre. For years he has been touring major Italian and European theatres with his plays and exciting new productions. On 15 October he will be at the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire, to present the award-winning show ‘Raffaello, il figlio del vento’ in Italian with English surtitles. Accompanied live by pianist Matteo Castellan, and with skilful play of images and light, he will reconstruct with irony and fun the most salient moments in the life of the Urbino painter and his most iconic works.
