Arcangelo Pignatelli, born in 2002, began studying music at the tender age of 6 under the guidance of his father Angelo; he then attended the conservatory of Vibo Valentia, where he is currently studying under the guidance of Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi. He ranked first in many prestigious music contests in Italy, Croatia and Portugal and was selected to represent Italy at the 69th Coupe Mondiale in Rostov-on-Don (Russia) in 2016.
In occasion of his concert at the IIC, Arcangelo will perform pieces by Precz, Scarlatti, Angelis, Galynin, Chiacchiaretta and Makkonen.
