We resume the series of meetings on Italian style and design with the screening of the documentary entitled ‘Lambretta. Ascesa e declino di un Miracolo Italiano‘ (Lambretta the rise and fall of an Italian dream) (52’) that recounts the epic of the ‘Lambretta’ the Milanese answer to Piaggio’s Vespa in Italy’s 1950s economic boom. Starting with the explosion of two-wheeled mobility and the success of the more famous Vespa, the film traces the years of the rise and subsequent decline of the ‘Lambretta’ model from the Innocenti company in Milan. A dive into the iconic products of Italian culture to learn about the foundations of the success of Italian design in the world.
The film will be shown in Italian with English subtitles.
A small wine reception will be offered to participants at the end of the meeting.
