XXI Week of the Italian language in the world

This year the Week of the Italian language in the world celebrates from an innovative perspective the timeless genius represented by Dante Alighieri. Our Institute has organized four unmissable events.

1. “La lingua di Dante e l’italiano di oggi”. Seminar-lecture by Prof. Chiara Coluccia – UNIBO. Tuesday 19 October 2021, 5 pm

2. Geronimo Stilton talks about Dante. An exclusive event with the live participation of Geronimo Stilton in “fur and whiskers” in Italian and English. Monday 25 October 2021, 4.30 pm at the Italian Institute of Culture. Free event, booking required. Click HERE for more information.

3. Artistic workshop with Maria Carmela Colaneri for children from 6 years old in Italian. Wednesday 27 October 2021 from 10 to 12,30 and Thursday 28 October 2021 from 10 to 12,30 at the Italian Institute of Culture. Free event, booking required. Click HERE for more information.

‘Accademia della Crusca’ usually prepares a volume for the Week of the Italian Language in the World. This year the volume is called ‘Dante, l’italiano” which can be downloaded for free from October 18th to October 24th from HERE. From October 25th the volume will be available for a fee.
