I Nomadi: Celebrating Irish-Italian Film & Music

Light House Cinema, Smithfield, Sunday 21 June, h 6:00–7:15, €10.

Including the premiere of The Piano Nomad short documentary (d. Luke McManus) and shorts from Cara Holmes, Luca Truffarelli  & Alex Sapienza.
With special live performance by Antoni O’Breskey, Joe McHugh, Barry Carroll, Consuelo Breschi (Varo, Landless)
Followed by prosecco afterparty.

Italians have made a unique contribution to the cultural life of Dublin, not least in the worlds of film and music. This event celebrates the intersection of music, images and art with a programme of visually stunning short documentaries made with Italian creatives in Ireland, curated by director Luke McManus (North Circular).

The screenings will be followed in the cinema by a special live performance from the Piano Nomad himself, the celebrated Tuscan pianist Antony O’Breskey who celebrates 50 Years In Music this year.

This special event is brought to you as part of Stoneybatter Festival 2026, in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Radio Dublino and Banco Bakery Stoneybatter.
