Inauguration on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 6.30pm -Italian Institute of Culture 

Open until 31 July 2024 – Free entry, Mon-Fri 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm

On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Giacomo Matteotti, the anti-fascist politician killed on 10th June 1924, the Italian Institute of Culture will host an exhibition of panels in English titled “Giacomo Matteotti and the Liberating Freedom”, promoted by the National Committee for the Celebrations of the Centenary of the Death of Giacomo Matteotti.

The exhibition will narrate the life and political commitment of one of the most important Italian activists. Prof. Maurizio Degl’Innocenti, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Siena, will attend the opening.

The exhibition presents a selection of documents and photographs, provided by Fondazione Studi Storici “Filippo Turati” in Florence and coming from the fund Porry Pastorel and from Studio Alberto Giulianelli.

A wine reception will be offered to all participants.
